Security, compliance and other insigts on your API data

In this hands-on Hypertrace training course, you will learn how to install Hypertrace open source Apache 2.0 licensed components as part of your modern development pipeline and how to enable tracing and observe of possible compliance and security risks in your API data. All of the course chapters will provide use case scenarios, for example how to save costs in data validation, such as security and compliance by full automation.

Course curriculum

1. Introduction

Introduction of Hypertrace and the real-life scenarios you can use this Apache 2.0 license product.

2. Architecture

Each component in Hypertrace architecture plays an important role. This chapter provides you an overview of each of these components from data ingestion to user interface all the way to service deployment and helps you to understand the relation to the modern data pipeline.

3. Installation

In this chapter, you will learn step by step, how the product and its components are implemented. Each of the technical chapters has prerequisites so it is important that you follow the course steps in the installation.

4. Data Ingestion

In this chapter, you will learn how the data ingestion process works in Hypertrace and how to import data for immediate use or storage in a MongoDB.

5. Query Layer Services

In this chapter, you will learn how to create simple queries with the Hypertrace data and how different query layer services work.

6. UI

In this chapter, you will learn how the to implement the user interfaces for static and real-time reporting purposes.

7. Data Service Deployment

In this chapter, you will learn how to connect to three major data service platforms to manage your data producers and data consumers.
