Sustainable clothes ecosystem

There are so many surplus clothes left in the stores. What could be an easy way to donate them? What if we had smart donation boxes.
The smart boxes would be able to tell if they are empty.
Consumers could buy clothes to be donated.
The store, the donators and the boxes would be connected via API. The API to connect everyone would be the product sold to cloth and textile companies.
